Founding vendor listings — Ontario
List on VowNook free. Keep every tool. Pay 8% only when a couple we introduce actually signs with you — capped at $1,000. No contract, no card, cancel whenever.

Figures from published 2025–26 vendor reports about the major wedding directories. Their pricing is negotiated and unpublished — which is part of the problem.
The founding offer

until a booking we sent you closes
Comparable costs anchored to going rates for equivalent standalone tools (directory listing, lead-alert, proposal, scheduling and review software) — check them yourself; they should survive it.
Why free is real
Directories sell placement, so their customer is whoever pays most — not the couple, and not you. VowNook charges nothing for the listing and takes a capped success fee when a booking closes. If we send you nothing, we earn nothing. Suspicious of free? Good — that instinct is exactly why the fee only exists after the money is in your account's direction, not before.
The risk sits on our side
You never pay VowNook a cent until a couple we introduced signs a contract with you. If that never happens, VowNook costs you nothing — forever.
Every inquiry hits your inbox within 60 seconds of the couple sending it. If we ever sit on a lead for more than an hour, that booking's fee is waived.
Useful from day one
A smart vendor's first question about a new marketplace is "what's a listing worth with no traffic?" Here's the honest answer: on day one you get a search-optimised public profile on pages that already rank for your city and category — built with structured data and server-rendered, so ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity can actually read and cite it (most vendor websites can't be read by AI at all). Plus the itemised quote builder, the availability calendar, and review collection tied to real bookings — yours free, whether or not a single lead ever arrives.
Who built this
I'm Ahmad Itani, an event and conference manager at a lodge in Northern Ontario — the one coordinating the room while your photos are being taken. I've watched good vendors lose bookings for reasons that had nothing to do with their work: a slow reply, a broken form, a directory that ranked whoever paid most. VowNook is the version of that industry I'd actually want to work in. Apply below and it's me who reads it, me who calls you back, and me who answers when something breaks.
The longer story →Founding spots are capped
Not fake urgency — arithmetic. Leads only convert when each vendor gets enough of them, so founding status (a permanent Founding badge and featured placement at the top of your category) is capped at ten vendors per category in each region. The first cohort is filling now. After the cap, listing is still free — but founding placement is gone for good.
There isn't one, and here's the maths: we only make money when you make money. A free listing costs us almost nothing to host; a booking earns us a capped fee. So our incentive is to send you couples who actually sign — not to sell you placement.
No. Run both. VowNook costs you nothing until we win you a booking, so there is no budget conflict — keep whatever is working and let this run alongside it.
The fee applies to bookings made through VowNook. We ask for good faith — the platform only works if bookings flow through it — but there are no policing games, no contracts, and no penalties. Vendors who route bookings through the platform get the verified reviews, and those reviews are what rank you.
We're early, and we won't pretend otherwise. Couple traffic is growing through our free planning tools and Ontario price guides, which rank on Google and get read by AI assistants. That is exactly why founding spots are free and carry permanent featured placement: founding vendors take a position before the demand curve, at zero risk — if no couple ever books you, you never pay a cent.
Only when a couple who found you on VowNook accepts your offer and the booking is confirmed. The fee is 8% of the first $5,000 and 5% above that, capped at $1,000. Example: an $8,000 booking = $400 + $150 = $550. A $30,000 booking = $1,000, because of the cap.
