Plan your wedding free — no card

How it works.

One platform, two sides of the aisle: a planning studio for couples and a marketplace where great vendors meet couples ready to book. Here is the whole journey, step by step.

Guests raising a toast at a golden-hour wedding reception

From “yes” to “I do” — organised.

01

Create your studio — free

One account opens your private planning workspace. No credit card, no trial clock.

  • Guest list with groups, plus-ones and meal choices
  • RSVP tracking with a public reply page for guests
  • Budget tracker — estimates, actuals and what is paid
  • Checklist, timeline and a day-of schedule you can share
02

Design your wedding website

Pick a template, add your photos and video, and publish a page guests will actually visit.

  • Eight design themes — Classic, Modern, Botanical, Blush, Royal Gold and more
  • Hero image or video, your story, a timeline of moments and a photo gallery
  • Registry, travel & stays, save-the-dates and a multi-day schedule with per-event RSVP
  • A free name.vownook.com web address and a live countdown to your date
03

Browse the marketplace

Every vendor is reviewed before publishing. Filter by category, city, province and budget.

  • Portfolios with galleries, packages and transparent starting prices
  • Verified reviews from couples who actually booked — never pay-to-play
  • No account needed to browse; sign in only when you want to reach out
04

Request quotes — in one minute

Send your date, guest count and budget once. Vendors reply with structured offers, not vague DMs.

  • One open inquiry per vendor keeps your inbox clean
  • A message thread with each vendor, all in one place
  • Offers arrive itemised: line items, deposit, terms and an expiry date
05

Compare offers side by side

Quotes group by category so you can weigh photographers against photographers, not apples against venues.

  • Totals, deposits and line items aligned for honest comparison
  • Accept the offer that fits — or decline with one click, no awkward emails
06

Book — and keep planning

Accepting an offer creates the booking and drops the vendor straight into your planning workspace.

  • The booked vendor appears in your vendor list with cost already filled in
  • Booking is free for couples — vendors pay a small success fee, never you
  • After your day, leave a review tied to the real booking

Leads you can actually close.

No subscriptions. No 12-month contracts. You pay a capped success fee only when a couple books you — if we don't earn you business, we earn nothing.

01

List your business — $0

No subscription, no contract, no lock-in. Your listing costs nothing, forever.

  • Portfolio page with logo, cover, gallery and your story
  • Category, city and province so local couples find you
  • Packages with fixed, starting-at or quote-only pricing
02

Get reviewed & published

Every profile is checked by our team before it goes live — usually within a day.

  • Moderation keeps the marketplace trustworthy, which keeps inquiry quality high
  • Your public page is search-engine optimised with structured data, working for you on Google
03

Manage your availability

A simple calendar — mark dates booked or blocked so inquiries match your real capacity.

  • Click a date to cycle it: available, booked, blocked
  • Toggle "accepting bookings" off any time you are at capacity
04

Receive real inquiries

Couples come to you with a date, a guest count and a budget — not cold "how much?" messages.

  • Email notification the moment an inquiry lands
  • Every lead in one inbox with the full conversation thread
05

Reply with a structured offer

Build an itemised quote in minutes: line items, deposit, terms, valid-until date.

  • Replace or withdraw an offer any time before it is accepted
  • Couples compare offers transparently — clear quotes win
06

Win the booking, track earnings

When a couple accepts, the booking is confirmed and your earnings dashboard keeps score.

  • Success fee only when you win: 8% up to $5,000, 5% above, capped at $1,000
  • No booking, no fee — ever
  • Reviews from real bookings build your profile; respond to each one publicly

The fine print, in plain words.

What is VowNook?

VowNook is a free wedding-planning studio and a curated marketplace of trusted Ontario wedding vendors. Couples plan their guest list, budget, seating chart, wedding website and registry for free, then discover vendors, compare real quotes and book — all in one place.

Is VowNook free?

Yes. Planning, browsing vendors, requesting quotes and booking are all free for couples. An optional $99 Atelier tier adds the wedding website, floor plan and collaborator features for one wedding.

How does VowNook make money?

Vendors list for free and pay a success fee only when they win a booking: 8% of the first $5,000, 5% above that, capped at $1,000 per booking. Couples are never charged to book.

Are the reviews on VowNook real?

Yes. A review can only be written by a couple with a confirmed booking with that vendor — one review per booking. Vendors can respond publicly but cannot pay to remove, reorder or fake reviews.

How is VowNook different from sites like The Knot or WeddingWire?

Two things: the planning tools are completely free, and every review is tied to a real booking — there is no pay-to-play placement. VowNook is built Ontario-first, with local vendors and realistic local pricing.

What areas does VowNook serve?

VowNook is Canada-first and Ontario-focused — including Toronto, Ottawa, Mississauga, Hamilton, London, Kitchener-Waterloo and Niagara. Vendors anywhere in Canada can list.

Does VowNook help plan a honeymoon?

Yes. The AI honeymoon concierge designs ready-to-book honeymoon options at your budget, and guests can contribute toward the trip through your wedding registry.

Can my partner and a planner work with me?

Yes — invite collaborators with roles (planner, family, vendor) and control exactly what each person can view or edit.

Who can see my wedding details?

Your workspace is private. Vendors only see what you choose to include in an inquiry, and your wedding website is public only after you press publish.

Ready when you are.
